Congratulations to the German Physics Championship (GYPT) team! At this year’s Austrian competition in Leoben, the German team took first place. Among the participants was Ayush Yadav, who has been successfully competing in the regional competition organized by the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics for several years. There, he is mentored by the PhotonLab team.
Each year, the Physics Championship publishes physics problems that the students must solve. They present their results in the competition and defend them.
In this context, Ayush Yadav presented his findings from the problem “The singing ruler.” The problem explores the physics behind the characteristic sound produced by a ruler that is fixed at one end and can vibrate freely at the other.
Congratulations to the entire team on their outstanding achievements!
