Naja studied Material Design – Bionics and Photonics (B.Sc.) at the University of Applied Sciences Hamm-Lippstadt. During her bachelor project and thesis in the Denz Group at the University of Münster, she worked with a two-photon polymerization setup to investigate how different laser parameters influence the polymerization process in Ormocomp.

She earned her M.Sc. in Photonics at the University of Applied Sciences Münster.
Alongside her studies, she worked as a laser technician at Refined Laser Systems in Münster.

At Menlo Systems, she conducted research on phase-noise stabilization of continuous-wave lasers as part of her master’s thesis.

Naja joined the field-resolved infrared spectroscopy team as a laser engineer to advance the next generation of the Infrasampler and contribute to the CMF project.
